PORTLAND, Maine (August 26, 2013) – Flavor Festivals announces the launch of Portland’s first-ever BBQ & Blues Festival, September 20-22, 2013 at the Maine State Pier.  More than a dozen Blues bands and featured performers will rock the stage Friday – Sunday with The Blues Prophets & Old Blue Kats kicking off the weekend of concerts, food, fun and fantastic BBQ.

About BBQ & Blues Festivals: Produced by Flavor Festivals of Cape Elizabeth Maine, BBQ & Blues Festival Portland will be the 1st Annual event in Portland is modeled after its successful forerunner The Jensen Beach BBQ & Blues, March of 2013.
The festival will come alive with incredible energy when the smooth sounds of award-winning blues, not to mention the sweet smell of barbecue fill the air.
BBQ & Blues Portland will feature two and a half days of mouth-watering barbecue,
live entertainment and family fun on the Portland’s Waterfront.
 A major highlight of the event will be the “BBQ-er’s!” creating
the best barbecue delights right down on Portland’s Waterfront.
